Healthcare/Critical Care Management

Critical care management deals with people having life threatening diseases and injuries. It may treat issues, for example, difficulties from medical procedure, diseases, and extreme breathing issues. It involves close, constant attention by a team of specially-trained health care providers. Critical care usually takes place in an intensive care unit (ICU) or trauma center.

The Vocational degree course in Critical Care Management offers advanced lessons to eligible scholars on the safe and effective use of technological systems used in the care of critically ill patients. They work alongside doctors, nurses and other paramedical staff such as physiotherapists, dietitians and pharmacists in often pressurized conditions. There is a lot of contact with patients and distressed relatives. The role involves cleaning, servicing and regulating equipment, setting up and operating it, monitoring it during use and regularly checking readings.
